Auroville Forest Group
Auroville Forest Group is the umbrella organization for Auroville’s green workers. Auroville’s afforestation project is one of the success stories of the township in the making. It is estimated that over 3 million trees have been planted since 1968. The Forest Group has gathered a pool of knowledge regarding land reclamation and rejuvenation, afforestation and land management.
